I recently went on a tour from Istanbul to the ancient City of Troy with RSL Tours, staying overnight at The Grand Ecabeat Hotel, then the next day did a tour of the battlefields of Gallipoli.
RSL Tours completely exceeded all my expectations. They picked me up from my hotel in Istanbul, and managed my trip to Ecebeat the base for Troy and the battlefields tours. Our guide for Troy and Gallipoli were specialists in each of these areas, and were fun, honest, informative and helpful beyond expectations. The food was genuine Turkish food, better than many of the locals ate, and there was always good left over. Each guide, plus 'Ash' the Manager of RSL tours were just so polite, respectful! helpful, welcoming and informative that I would class these tour operators as the best I could have ever wanted.
If you want to see, experience and know about Troy, or the Battlefields then I can't recommend RSL Tours highly enough!!!! Plus they will take you to the newly opened Visitor Interpretive Centre that is WORLD class (a must experience).
For men, I also found a hidden 'treasure' in Eceabat, in the evening. A small owner operated Men's Barber a few shops down from The Grand Ecebeat Hotel. I didn't speak Turkish, he didn't speak English but I got the BEST hair and beard cut, plus cut throat razor shave ever. The cigarette lighter in each ear was a wonderful experience!!!! Brilliant!!!!
Based on my recent experience I recommend RSL Tours.
On ANZAC Day (25 April, 2015) I will watch the ceremonies and remember my wonderful experiences there. Thank you RSL Tours!

Once you have one of these you can put the original away in a safe place, perhaps you might want to frame it and hang it on your wall.
